Hello dear friends and looks like a cloudy day out there for sure. As always, it's time to spread the love and kudos to Anna, Jo, Shilpa and Russell for stopping by on my previous entry and for all the likes, loves, comments and shares I've been blessed with. Thank you as always.
This weekend has been a magical one as I had the pleasure of imbuing some enlightened souls with the joy of Reiki Mastership/Teacher. Being able to share this incredible gift is something to behold and as we all step forward it will bring incredible gifts of awareness to each one of them. There's a line I've seen in the manual that I've read that sums up what Reiki Mastership is all about. "You have not mastered Reiki, Reiki has mastered you." I may not have it off verbatim but you certainly see the message here.
I often see the ego mind coming in with regards to Reiki Mastership and I'm afraid I do roll my eyes when I hear someone boasting about being a Reiki Master or a Reiki Grand Master (whatever that is). This is not some heady rank bestowed upon us in Kung Fu but merely an acknowledgement of our journey as we move into higher energies. I know the people I've taught don't have that sort of energy but I've seen it a few times on my own journey and I'm sure a few of my fellow readers have too. I just smile and carry on these days.
What gives me pleasure though is seeing the effects the energy has on everyone and the wow moments these courses give. It's also amusing to see the looks of confusion on their faces when they see what's involved in giving an attunement. There are quite a few steps but like everything else, it can be reached with application and practice. I was in the same position once and had to drill it into my consciousness and I know for sure they will certainly get there but I do advise waiting a few month before they run their first course to let it all sink in.
On a separate note I booted up my Duolingo for the first time in ages. For those who are not aware it is a free app you can put on your phone to teach you a different language. I did start Italian and was doing quite well on it but being a typical Gemini I flitted onto something else rather than carrying on with it. I restarted it, and will do a couple of sessions of Italian a day but then me being me decided to also start German. German is actually from the same language tree as English and there's quite a few similarities in certain words. Time will tell how I get on with it before I get bored.
Well that will do for today. Have a most splendid time and remember keep reading.
Today's things to be grateful for.
