What words will leap forth?

Greetings all and first up a huge thank you to Anna, Shilpa, Jo and Louise for reading, commenting, love/sharing my latest post. It all makes it worthwhile for me to pen a few random ramblings.

I have no particular idea what I shall scribe today but will begin by saying that I will be getting out the drum for my development group this week. Anna requested that we do some work with it as she does enjoy it. We'll do a bit of soundwork too which isn't everyone's cup of tea but some of the group really do enjoy it so I thought I'd do a bit of that this week.

I looked out at the traffic reports and it's crazy that there are still silly delays with operation brock/stack or whatever it's called. It makes it very difficult for the lorry drivers who are compelled to stay in their cabs for goodness knows how long as well as the regular drivers. Can we please get things back to normal soon. I was most fortuitous over the weekend as I took to the back roads to get to my destination.

Then we have the people chaining themselves to oil refineries to make their protest about oil. I can understand that they may wish to protest but incapacitating everyday commuters going about their usual business is not going to get them much support. Surely it would be better for them to protest to those in government rather than upset Mrs Lane from getting to work. Perhaps they could use their energy to push government to act quickly on providing alternative methods of travel than the petrol car, such as electric or even hydrogen. What do I know eh?

Well, today I shall potter a few words together. Whatever will come from my mind is beyond me as I truly have no idea but let's start with...

He delved into a strange device

Realised heat was rather bold

Stroked his chin in mock wisdom

Recalled a distant program

Scattered puffs of pleasure

Arranged thus upon cool metal

Thinking how things would change

Inside a vast inferno

Seal the door with elan

Fled full bolt to a Jedi Waltz

Darth danced a sinister pace

In lightest sabre day

Engrossed the epic played

Enraptured, forget blazing fire

Soon the hour turned to two

In entertainment's cage

A chord of great alarm

Sprinted to the burning ones

Inside smoke reached so high

Coughing fit: release the tray!

Alas his work had truly failed

A charnel broth now the gift

Flaked old dust within his hand

Phone seized: Pepperoni call.
