Unjoy yourself? Err, I'd rather not thank you.

Hello dear friends and my battle with Wordle and Octordle this morning produced mixed results. I vanquished the Wordle but the Octacle proved too much of a barrier to overcome this morning. Hmm, I invented a word right there but that's not the one I had in mind. Anyway, without further ado let's send the love and kudos to Anna, Shilpa, Jo, Vanessa, Russell, Tracy and Vicky. Thank you for stopping by and liking, loving, sharing, commenting and of course reading my previous post/entry.

Now, who recalls those days at school? Were they days of joy, terror, ennui, learning or something else? For me, they were a mixed bag with some great memories but others not so wonderful. What I will do though is narrow it down to those lessons we undertook. Think of the array of teachers we had and some may have inspired, others bored you to the edge of slumber and others who you really couldn't abide at all as well as all the shades in between.

In my own instruction, I try to entertain to some degree and make it memorable if I can. There is nothing worse where you don't unjoy a course. There, you go, that's my word today and pretty apparent to what I'm referring. Who remembers those teachers who spoke in monotone and held the passion of a pencil drowning in vinegar? Then there are those who'd happily motor on about their own ego and saw the pupils as a draught excluder to the end of their day and then those great teachers who you didn't mind going listening too as well as a few barmy ones.

Here in lies the kernel of today's message. For those who run courses, groups, etc it's incumbent upon us to of course provide content but do it in a way that's memorable, fun and hopefully brings the participant back for more. Put your own unique slant on things and for goodness sake enjoy it and don't see it as tedium for I guarantee if you do then those who attend will unjoy the whole process.

On that note I shall end and remember everyone, keep reading.

Things to be grateful for (please feel free to add your own)

  1. Lovely development group last night

  2. Progress on Shadowfruit and my own Reiki manual

  3. Reading a bit more on Star Mother and a bit about Palmistry.
