Greetings all and I trust all is fine in the temperate zone we are currently undergoing. It certainly does force us to take a break where we can. So, of course, let's first send some love and gratitude to those who've stopped by to love, like, comment, share and of course read, here's to Anna, Marion, Mike, Shilpa, Jo, Tracy, Sarah, Vanessa and Rae.
I'm pleased that a few were intrigued by the little excerpt of the book and it's what I'm looking for when writing. After all, if it was all a bit bland you'd be nodding off to sleep and scrolling onto the next post. Every time I trundle through a bit more editing I'll look to snip off a couple of sentences or so and believe me it gets very strange later especially the diabolical cookies armed with machetes, but that comes later on and I do need to tone that right down...

I must admit to not having much oomph at the moment. I did have some grandiose plans but someone pulled the plug on the energy levels. I ended up watching a couple of episodes of Stranger Things season 3 which is kind of right up my weirdsville street. It may be a bit too disturbing for some of you but it's a fine romp in a strange 80's sci fi zonescape with a bit of gore here and there.
I shall soon wind down by reading a little bit more of a room in the attic. It's quite an intrigue with this one as I can see quite a few potential writing mishaps but it has done pretty well. Moral of the story is the story comes first, always. A great story can overcome those perceived pitfalls and it's good piece of escapism that I'm enjoying. It's especially clever in the way that two stories are being told by alternative chapters and timelines. I'll give my verdict once I've completed it.
On that note I shall bid you all a sweet adieu and remember keep reading and do share to those who you feel might enjoy my meandering rambles.
