Greetings all and hope you're doing great on this warm day. First up let's spread the love and gratitude to Anna, Marion, Jo, Shilpa, Vanessa, Sarah and Donna. As always it's great to have you stop by and share your thoughts and comments, loves, likes and shares.
I will confess that I have a few aching muscles this morning and it takes me back to my karate days a bit. This pain is a good pain though as everything just begins to tone up and the muscles start to adapt accordingly. Bad pain is more in the bones and nerves, you certainly don't want those as they are indicative of health issues which require a bit of attention.

I always recall my first karate session here in Kent which was the first one in the New Year. A word to the wise, never ever join a fitness organisation in whatever they specialise in January for they are looking to blast out the excesses of Christmas indulgence. Needless to say I joined in a mad fitness session and during the rest of the week my body experienced waves of aches right up until Saturday. This was from a Tuesday evening too. However, over time I adapted and got used to it as the body improved.
Nevertheless, these days I will adapt the exercises. There are some that are clearly meant for a younger age range for myself so we modify it to something more realistic. I would say that to anyone, if you're finding it impossible, then change it. Over time you might be able to do the harder version, especially if you're younger but otherwise just do what is right for you. That's achievable and will yield good solid results provided you keep with it. That's my philosophy.
Well, what a crazy day yesterday too. A great result in the cricket (sorry Anna!), tennis success and mayhem with Boris. I won't dally too much with politics but it does look like the current incumbent intends to stay no matter what. The next few weeks and months look like they are going to be combustible and treacherous with our leaders. Step back and watch the crazy spectacle.
Anyway, that's quite enough of that and this evening I'm looking forward to meeting up with some fellow writers to see what creative magic we can weave. It's always a great vibe and some talented scribes will be there. Let's bring it on.
Time for me to desist and crack on with my day. And remember, keep reading :)
