Hello dear friends and it's a nice bright start to the day and may it be a special one to you all. Anyhow, let's send out the love and kudos to Anna, Shilpa, Jo, Russell, Annie, Kerry and Nina for stopping by and reading, liking, loving, commenting and sharing my previous post(s). It's very much appreciated and do keep returning as I try to put up fresh content most days and in an age of instant images and memes it's nice to have a little bit more in the form of words.
Golden leaves appear
The time to harvest is nigh
Wield scythe and reap.
Autumn is certainly here with a vengeance and soon those leaves will depart the trees en masse. I quite like Autumn as it can be rather picturesque and signals the end of summer as we transition into winter. It is the time of harvest for our endeavours earlier and time for us to store supplies for those colder months. It's also a time for reflection and when you sit down and look back on the year so far we've much to reflect upon.
We've had leaders fall, the most pointless war ever, threats of nuclear destruction and mayhem in general. It can certainly elicit feelings of fear if we're not careful and it would be wise of us all to remember that Reiki precepts Just for Today do not worry. Of course it's worrying when man has the capacity to destroy everything around him. It only takes one demented monkey and a press of a button but we must focus on the good rather than the terrible.
There is compassion, love and wisdom out there and I truly believe these attributes will overcome the dark. If we let our light and healing shine then the shadows will diminish and at last we can step into those higher days of compassion and learning. Isn't that what life's supposed to be about. I see plenty of quotes out there so I will add my own : "Conflict is the total failure of the human condition." This can filter down through so many levels be it a spiteful argument or a full blown war. Let's all step away from that eh?
On another note we had a splendid development evening last night from readings with cards that didn't actually exist to some marvellous healing. Well done to all those who came along and for those who may be curious to know more, then drop me a message and I'll tell you how it all works.
