The collaborators

Greetings all. A monochrome sky yawns above the house today and I dare say a cloudburst or two may be in store for us. However, let's share the love and kudos to Anna, Shilpa, Jo and Vanessa for stopping by on my post yesterday to comment, share, love and like. Thank you everyone as always and to those who have read but prefer to stay out of the limelight. Nothing wrong with that I can assure you.

My mind today harks back to Tuesday and when Shilpa picked up on a reading that sharing work with each other is a pretty darn good idea and leads to unexpected inspiration. In this instance we are talking about a more creative outlook but it certainly can be applied to all walks of life. Though the reading wasn't for myself per se it did inspire me to reach out to an old haunt of mine called Get Sparked. Here's a link for you all http://getsparked.org/ to peruse at your leisure and I do have some rather old pieces lurking on there.

The upshot is I've enrolled for the next instalment and let's see what the gods of creation can craft for me and what I may inspire in someone else. I'll just hover back to Shilpa's reading the other day, for when myself and Anna worked with a lady called Charlotte last night she drew the same card and Charlotte is an artist too. Clearly a message of synchronicity is going on here and I hope the artists both join me in joint ventures.

Before I finish up a special thank you to Anna who's agreed to beta read my novel. This means she gets to have a look through it, find those gaffes (which there will be), plot holes , seeing things that don't work and generally help mould the novel to where it needs to be. It's a very arrogant writer who thinks they can just pump out their book expecting it to be perfect. It tends not to be the case and I am enjoying the editing process and putting together these fun little photos on Instagram and Facebook showing how it's all moving along.

Right, time to end, I'm off for a day of teaching reiki to young adults which will be a fabulous experience. Always remember...keep reading.
