Greetings all and a massive thank you to Anna and Kat for stopping by and liking, commenting, loving and sharing my posts and to all those out there who've read my latest blog piece. Much love to you all as always.
Today I thought I'd share my experience regarding other sites to share blogs. I will stick with Facebook for now as I thought it'd be perfect. There was one group I did briefly join but they never got back to me regarding sharing the blogs which was a shame as it did look quite good. However, I thought let's move on, set up a little blog exchange of my own which is still in its nascence stage and look at other prospective groups.
Well, I have to say it left me all a bit underwhelmed. When I looked the vast majority propagated methods and schemes of sending traffic to your blog. That's all well and good but where was the content to engage? In all honestly, such sites tend to be rather dull and inflated with proclaimed strategies for success but I do question the veracity of their claims. For me it's about giving the reader a few things to mull over as well as hopefully making the journey interesting.
I've said it before, it's tough being a writer of content as society now is consumed by momentary snapshots in the form of inspirational quotes and memes. They serve their place but for those who actually want people to read their words they are in for a hard ride but still we persist. It makes me appreciate more those who do stick around and digest the content that's out there.
On a separate note I've just done another Qi Gong session and feel rather refreshed. Qi Gong is great for working with energy and there are certainly parallels with me with the Reiki meditations. I, of course, love both aspects but what I enjoy with Qi Gong is the fact you do it with movement. Now, this is not insane fitness and hard energy work. I've done that in my karate days but instead much more based on flow and relaxation. It is a misconception to believe that you have to be all rigid, tense and hard for powerful results. This is not the case it would appear.
For those looking for a light but effective routine why not give it a go? There's countless videos on youtube to cut your teeth before deciding whether to go further. This is one of the few times where online exercise routines do actually work.
Time now for me to close down today's little ramble. Later it's time for our little spiritual group and I'm sure Anna will give me a most splendid reading...what's that, a big fat firm no chance. Ah, one day, one day...
Until next I type, adieu everyone and be nice, be joyful and well, just be you.
