Greetings all and are you enjoying the inferno out there? First up, let's send some love and gratitude to Anna, Marion, Shilpa, Donna, Cindy and to any I may have missed for your patronage, commenting, loving, sharing and liking on my previous post. Much love and kudos to each of you.
I haven't blogged for a couple of days as I've been focusing my attention on teaching Reiki and what a magical weekend we had. The man I trained for Reiki master/teacher is already a very wise knowledgeable soul and it was a true pleasure. It's a pleasure and an honour to be part of his journey.
Whilst we all melt in the sun's generosity my mind wanders off to see where we can draw forth new people who might wish to join the party. I don't know about most of you but Facebook is rather tiresome but kind of necessary. I know many of us have disconnected from it and returned or just post much less. It's nowhere near as effective as it used to be to attract people to what you do and is also the realm of some perfidious individuals who can be rather irksome.
So then we look to alternatives. Instagram is fun and quirky but seems to be in the shadow of Tik Tok these days. I've got an account on Tik Tok but I'm not a great fan of it to be honest, it's all a bit odd. Then there's Twitter which to me has had it's day and that is pretty much the main bunch. However, there are other tribes to look at. I've looked into Discord but found that experience rather baffling and so it's off to scout around what other ones are out there. There's something called Mastodon which looks interesting but quite small, Parler is another one but I don't want to be harangued by conspiracy theories which I understand are on there, but maybe I can get round that. I'm also aware that I don't wish to be in the position where I have to create content on all these different formats each and every day!
Ergo, it's right to just have a looksee and observe which may or may not work. It could well be that none of them hit the mark or that some might be quiet now and will evolve into something more substantial. So, let's examine, have a bit of fun and see if anything is notable.
