Scary hands

Greetings all on the eighth day of the eighth month. Another glorious sunny day lies out there and let me send forth love and gratitude to Marion, Anna, Jo, Vanessa, Shilpa, Lorraine, Sarah and Russell. Huge kudos to each of you for stopping by and sharing, loving, commenting and liking my previous endeavour.

Yesterday was a lovely day of exchanging reiki and a splendid opening evening to a Lions gate experience I'm running with Marion. It was very special and we're both excited to do the second part this evening on zoom and such beautiful energy to be a part of. If you're interested in what future events we will hold do get in touch.

My focus today is all about hands but perhaps not quite how you expect. You see I put out four potential book cover designs and one was a tower block, another a dark photo with crimson writing, another a green fence/pallet look and the final one of a shadow with scary hands coming through. Hands down, the hands stole the majority of the votes and will certainly influence what design I will go with. I'd like an urban/London feel to it but most definitely have something to work with.

Speaking of which, another dose of editing has just taken place and here is just the briefest of snippets. This chapter doesn't have any peculiar goings on, just more story setting and dialogue.

“You having a laugh?” barked a blister faced girl with a fierce Bermondsey accent. “Look it says 50p don't it, Wendy?” The shop assistant flamed red. She hated her name badge. “Don't you Wendy me. You know full well it's fifty quid, not fifty pence.” “Leave this with me, Wendy. I'll take care of this.” “Cheers, Mr. Whitby,” snarled the grateful sales assistant. “Come with me, young man.”

So concludes today's post and remember keep reading everyone.
