Remember to smile

Hello dear friends I do hope all is well on this greyish start to the day. I do feel there is a tincture of sunlight out there which may well grow, we shall see. First up let's share the love, kudos and joy to Shilpa, Anna, Jo and Russell for stopping on by and reading my post yesterday. Thank you as always.

Smile when things are bad

For it is a healing light

That may just transform.

It was a splendid evening last night in development which turned out to be a bit different from previous encounters. Vicky, asked for us to do a spot of automatic/channelled writing and we also had quite a deep conversation about many, many things. A diversion from the usual route and we all found it quite profound I believe. Some of the messages that came through were most insightful and not a reading to be had either.

I shall turn my thoughts today to the element of joy and laughter. It is quite a challenge at times to bring this energy forward especially when you look around and see so many po faced individuals who find themselves in the pallor of sadness. It can be especially difficult to escape the clutches of this existence and rather than see light all you discover is misery.

This is not a post about decrying those individuals, far from it, rather than one to offer that bit of solace where it's needed. The elements of sadness can come from many factors such as grief, disappointment, pressure, stress and almost a total disconnection of who we are. If we're not careful we feel everyone is against us and no-one is on our side and you find yourself in a state of stasis.

For some they are happy to be in this state. I've been there and I've journeyed into the solitude as I found I just did not fit into the expectations of what others wished me to be. Whilst I was quite used to it, it's far better to embrace those around you with love, trust and hope with joy. If we believe everything is against us and no-one wants to know then that is the reality that will be conjured up.

So what is to be done. It may sound glib but do not underestimate the power of a smile or a simple thought that can change the very essence of what you're feeling in that moment. When those sensations you'd rather avoid begin to haunt you, delve deep and find the nuggets of laughter that can combat this. At times it may seem impossible but keep trying and you can then change your whole energy and the irony is that when we need it most that is when we plunge away from the very thing that's needed.

So there we are, today's thoughts and I do hope they may be of some use to you all. On that note remember to keep reading and let's put forth my 3 things to be grateful for.

  1. An insightful evening

  2. An upcoming Reiki appointment

  3. Watching the last instalment of Rings of Power which was ok I guess.
