Oh oh it's greying again. A new month, same dreary morning scene outside so a time to crack on. Let's crack open the gratitude, kudos and love to Anna, Shilpa, Jo, Anne (via Anna) and Mary for stopping by and commenting, liking and loving my posts and all those who've taken the time to read my thoughts.
Yesterday I did embark on my mini odyssey but it was a tad frustrating as I was bound by parking regulations. This meant I had a 2 hour window lest I incur the wrath of an overzealous warden who may well have inflicted a fine upon me. Nevertheless, I did cover about 4 1/2 miles which isn't too shabby and I took a mini detour which led me to a field with tractors engaging in death race 2000. I realised, hmm, this isn't quite the North Downs Way but an interesting episode nevertheless.
My thoughts today turn to editing, writing and development group tonight. I'll be loading up the next chapter of Shadowfruit and thanks to Anna who has already read 265 pages of my novel so she's ready for the next burst. We are getting quite nicely towards the crescendo now as things really start to get sinister and dark. Moral of the story, leave ouija boards well alone as they can open portals to places you don't want to visit.
My writing will focus on my get sparked obligation as I've been issued with my inspiration piece. I'm looking forward to seeing what I can bring to life as well as seeing what my piece will inspire in the artist I'm working with. Collaboration is awesome and I'd like to thank Shilpa who inadvertently reminded me of this site I used to visit. Good times.
Then we have development tonight and I always approach these with a great deal of flexibility to see where the evening takes us. Certainly on Thursday we went off on a tangent I didn't expect but it ended up being an informative, instructive and useful evening.
