Greetings all and first up let's say thank you to Anna, Shilpa, Jo, Dawn, Fabiola, Tessa, Sharon and Diane for your likes/loves/shares and comments. It's nice to know my musings are being noted and read. Thank you all :) xx
Well it's been a busy last few days with lots of healings and readings being completed and a lovely day today at the Shakra Centre running a little Reiki gathering. It's been a good challenge balancing all the energies and bringing forth some fabulous healing too. We even heard from a good friend who couldn't make it that the reiki we sent made her feel much better and that her covid test turned from positive to negative and she's pretty sure it made a difference to her. What do you guys think? Me, hmm, not just a coincidence methinks!
I also branched out into the world of streaming music rather than use the cd player which worked rather nicely. There's some lovely live ambient music on you tube that I use but it comes with a warning. For if you should choose the wrong track you can be half way through a session and then suddenly you are assailed by a Go Daddy advert or two. Goodness, these adverts are somewhat ubiquitous!
I was also asked to do a little talk in a group last night about runes. For those who don't know I'm running my first workshop on this in April and really looking forward to it. I'll be beavering away in the background putting together a few pages to elucidate upon the meaning of the runes in a contemporary and informative guide. I'm a firm believer in actually working with the runes/cards on the day so you can really get a feel for how it all works and it'll be great to work with some wonderful people. If you're interested, drop me a line and I'll tell you more.
Well, I guess it's time to search those old ancient texts of mine. Let's have a gander shall we...ah, this was from last year and well, why not?
Dear Heather
Pink caterpillars rise
And weave their way
To our attention
For snow has flown
Small husks of scent
Greet our sense
Of well-being
In these fur days
So before you tread
Another swift step
Take a moment
To observe
A panoply of wonder
that lies before you
whilst you scamper by
in diurnal duty
So see the heather
Acknowledge her stare
With a courteous bow
of deep gratitude
When you restart
your working day
Take a few moments
Just pause
And witness
What you don’t see
The simple beauty
Of everyday life
Burgeoning through
Cracks of perception
Nature ambles
Whilst we dash
Should we not be
true nature?
