Greetings all. Well, let's make this a habit and say a huge thank you to Anna, Lisa and Jo for liking, reading my blog post yesterday. I reached the heady heights of 15 views and who knows one day I may crack the 20 barrier. If you do like my content it'd be awesome if you could recommend or share.
Well, today has been an odd one. I awoke this morning to a sudden pang of pain on my calf. It was as though some ravenous vampire decided to munch upon the tendons inside and it took some hastily applied Reiki to calm the storm down. Calves are funny old fellows who contain a myriad of spaghetti like tendrils going off in all directions. Every now and then they behave and I'm glad to say that all is well for now.
Then whilst picking up my prescription after negotiating pot-holed dirt tracks, sorry, roads, I was almost run over by a myopic driver. I will confess that my "just for today do not anger" disappeared as a stream of invectives did purvey my thoughts. Clearly, my dieting has been going a bit too well as I must be hard to see.
Speaking of which I do at the present have a case of the munchies. A rather splendid couple of veggie burgers along with some cauliflower and eggs were rather tasty but now the body is lying and saying eat, eat, eat. I'm quite aware that my nutrients for the day have been reached and tis merely the protests of a deflating belly that wish to be heard. Clearly, I shall have to banish them to depths of silence for my day of eating what I like is Monday.
There has been nothing to note on the writing front but I have not been idle. Nay, I have set up a few events in regards to Reiki and look forward to seeing them all come together. However, seeing as it's a full moon, let's make up a very hasty poem which I will put together now. I'll even time it and put how long it took me underneath.
Ozzy did bark at the moon
Always thought him a loon
Yet he did quite well
Though a few times he fell
But let's claim that lunar light
For it's quite a lovely sight
Tomorrow it's going to be quite grey
Bit of a rainy, dreary day
What wonders will I craft
Probably something rather daft
But let the pen ebb and flow
For editors job is to just say no
Goodness me it's now verse four
I wonder if any have left the floor
Stay with me for just a couple
For this muse of mine can be a little trouble
So I ponder what to write
In this sombre veil of night
Come on G let's have a laugh
Oh go and dream of a drunk giraffe
Now I will end with the last hurrah
Amazed that you've made it this far
Until tomorrow I say farewell
Time has rung the final bell
Hmm, I make that six minutes for that nonsense above. Until tomorrow, do take care.
