Lasers and wood. Oh, and a dash of prose.

Greetings dear friends and first up let me say thank you to Shilpa, Jo and all those kind souls who took the time to stop by and read my previous post. Much love to each of you.

I've been playing with lasers. I've also added an element of wood. There has been smoke. From these ingredients comes something good. In short I have procured a laser engraver. There's been quite a few adverts on youtube about it. It is an investment. However, for me in time I'm hoping to recoup that and put my own unique slant into a few ideas.

What can you do? The question is pertinent. So far, I've experimented and failed with a few designs and this is expected. However, I've also created my own wooden blocks for readings. I used them on a facebook live yesterday. They work rather well. They are adorned with angelic energy and they are unique. Bit like myself and each one of you of course.

There are no guide books. The visuals are not fancy as you will see on those splendid cards. If you were ever to ask me to produce one for you it would incur some expense for you. After all, it takes a while to make these and I'm not a factory. Oh, you're readings might be wooden. That was a bit of daft humour right there. Dear author, get back on point.

Runes have been crafted. They do stand out and the discs are of a generous proportion. You might struggle if you've got small hands. They do look good though. You don't get a booklet though. Tonight, I'll look to make my own tarot boxes and a few other ideas are in the pipeline too. I'm rather enjoying this different side of creativity.

I do submit a flash fiction tale today. It's rather bijou and it might fit their remit. It's not horror though but fantasy. Well, a hint of fantasy and they do accept fantasy but it's not a realm of magic, great battles and mystery. Actually, it's more of a trip to the job centre. They might like it though.

I guess I'm at the end of today's message. Let me wish each of you a splendid Christmas and a fine New Year. Do take care.
