Flying low

Greetings all and let's say thank you to Anna, Jo, Shilpa, Sarah and Janet for your comments, loves, likes and shares. As always much love to all of you.

Today with our star showing off a nice halo of warmth I decreed to go for a wander in the wood of kings. (I live in Kingswood). The ground was a morass of mud and water in parts but imagine my surprise when a low rumbling sound came in from my right. Flying quite low passed a military plane of sorts and I'd guess it was a cargo or troop ship of some kind. I guess we ought not to be surprised but clearly there's a lot going on behind the scenes as this it the first time I'd seen such a sight in the woods.

I did enjoy the woody wander and for the first time this year I actually got quite warm from my 4 mile roam. Thankfully, there were no canines. leaping up at me when I traversed the bottom of what I term the field of doom dogs. I have given it this sobriquet due to an occasion where I was assailed by two large dogs whilst their owner waved their arms in surrender as they showered me with mud. I know Anna will be reading this and it would have made you rather cross and it did irk me I have to say.

As I look on the latest news I see that theatres sheltering civilians are now legitimate targets but apparently they are not in the aggressors crosshairs. Once again, the levels of fiction being propagated by the glorious leader know no limits. He's also declared open season on the "scum" who dare to oppose the imperious wisdom.

Then there is the diabolical disdain shown by P&O to their loyal staff. The leadership have no respect for their employees and security men in balaclavas were sent to remove errant workers who stayed to protest. The arrogance of immediate dismissal by some faceless overseer shows that it isn't just Russia who have omnipotent overlords in charge. I hope those using their services will look elsewhere in future but I doubt it.

Well soon I shall be off to begin my development group and alas I will not be at the Shakra Centre this weekend due to staff shortages. Rest assured, all will be back to normal next weekend and if you'd like to commandeer my services do give me a shout.

Shall we end with a poem? Go on then...

Wake the dragon

With a simple message

Eyes soon descend

With fiery dismissal

Endure the heat

Of pent up rage

Looking to roast

Such insignificance

Hope forlorn

A grim gate slams

Flagellate the past

Of what's been wrought

Ash rain falls

With once golden tears

Where love did dwell

Yet now: disdain

Venture no more

To this heartless place

An unfortunate episode

In cobalt passing

In a stony field

Embrace harsh chill

Speak in silence

Of what should have been

There is no blame

To all around

Accept the axiom

This falls on you.
