Elements of Joy

It’s hard to believe we are half way through the year. I’m sitting here now and wondering what words I shall type and I’m imbued with a huge sense of gratitude.

There are many things to which I can express thankfulness yet I shall take my attention to the previous evening. I had the pleasure to co-host a wonderful time with my wonderful partner, Marion to bring forth much fun and energy for the Summer Solstice. Marion brought forward some fabulous ideas to the evening and she always brings so much passion and light to our events.

We had fun with candle, winds, fire and smoke. It all added to a fabulous time. Like anything though, what adds to an enchanting time is the energy that comes from those who come along. We were blessed to have the thrill of some upbeat enthusiasm, laughter, a bit of mischief, movement and much more as we connected to the elements.

Needless to say time whizzed by and before we knew it darkness began to arrive and it was with a touch of regret we had to say goodbye. It brought forth some lovely memories and gave us much to savour as we all go forward.

So, for us all right now try to bring in the elements into your life right now in whatever way is right for you. Have a think about that and how it might play out. Let’s imagine you are in a place where you’re considering moving on, well, the element of air may well play a part as it will give you that element of momentum.

Let’s imagine things are going a bit flat in a relationship for example. What comes to me would then perhaps be the energy of fire to bring forward new passion. Rekindle those flames and see what you can bring forward into your life.

Maybe the time might come for you to set down some roots in a new home. Well, the element of Earth could be just the ticket. See yourself bringing in those elements of stability to anchor yourself into a different way of life.

Another example could be where you’re perhaps emotionally fragile. The element of water may well serve you well as those unspent tears may find a release to encourage the healing you possibly need.

Then why not bring all those elements together to shape your life in a direction of your own choosing. Get creative, for example, fire may encourage you to go to somewhere warm, air may inspire you to be out on a breezy day, water might be a trip to the coast and Earth perhaps to inspire you to a woodland walk or even a mountain for the adventurous ones.

Whatever you will, enjoy those elements and savour those gifts all around you. They may serve you well.
