Dusk comes early

Greetings all as I look outside it's certainly rather gloomy. Soon it will be time to turn the clocks back and then winter is well and truly on the way. In the meantime allow me to furnish gratitude, kudos and love to Anna, Shilpa, Jo and Russell for stopping on by on my previous post(s) with comments, likes, loves and shares. Thank you very much everyone.

The bronze age doth come

with the fluttering leaves

who carpet our path

One of the clear signs of the onset of chillier times is the shedding of leaves by those lofty wooden guardians holding sway near our gardens and forests. The space outside my abode is strewn with little bronze treasures who've floated down by our tall neighbours. I've already fed the garden waste bins with a hearty feast twice and this is merely the vanguard of what is to come. Still, it's quite cathartic to rake away and clear the lawn if merely for a few hours.

I also see we have a new leader at the helm our of realm. The previous incumbent decided to gamble and that backfired spectacularly. Lord only knows where this need dalliance will take us but it's high time a bit of common sense took over rather than the bluster, folly and general incompetence we've endured. General Election? You'd think it'd be the way forward but I fancy that won't happen anytime soon.

Still, let's take our attention away from what we've got little chance of changing and focus on what we can. We can certainly decide how we will feel each day and what we can do with our time and let's keep our vibration high and dig deep to bring forth that smile. It can do wonders you know.

Things to be grateful for.

  1. A bin full of leaves

  2. More Teutonic advancement

  3. Our imagination
