Don't mope, move!!

Greetings all and what a day of radiance we have outside for us to savour. It's certainly rather too nice to be sat inside watching the world go by. Well, time for me to express my gratitude to Anna, Jo, Shilpa and Varun (Twitter). There is also another who liked my post but alas I cannot discern the name as I believe it's in Japanese. Thank you for all the loves, comments, shares, retweets. It's much appreciated.

Have you ever found yourself in a bit of a fugue of who we truly are? By this I mean that we are kind of just moping along not doing very much and yet we know this is not what best serves us. Now, before I continue this isn't one of those posts that focuses on the pious belief to tap into our higher selves. For sure, this is certainly wise but for some, talking about higher selves will mean very little indeed and to be honest there are times when I read certain posts that have me rolling my eyes thinking, hmm, you've lost me there. I hope this will not achieve that result.

What I'm really tapping into is where we are in a bit of a daze and if we are not aware then those seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and so forth very swiftly turn into history. Have you ever thought, goodness where has the last ten years gone? I still struggle to think that it was 22 years ago when the dawn of a new millennium occurred and we were obsessed with the millennium bug that would pretty much wreck the digital world and send us back to the dawn of time. Hmm, well that never happened did it?

I found myself in this kind of a state over the last couple of days and thought, hmm, something needs a shake up here. Ergo, I looked at the sun setting out on its solar odyssey and declared to go forth and walk in the woodland realm about my domain. Five miles elapsed and I must decree I am feeling rather more energised that when I set forth. This strange sensation has lifted for now and have changed the feeling of enervation into invigoration.

There is one axiom that came forth to me whilst upon my latest wander and it's a pretty obvious truth. We are in charge of what we choose to do with our existence. Yes, others around you can certainly influence your state of being and it's easy to feel you are in some sort of divine pinball machine with all kinds of pitfalls about you. Yet, sometimes you might just get the jackpot and light up the multiball of life. It's important that we focus on ourselves and whilst there are some who believe in you, dismiss you, knock you down, build you up, castigate you, cheer for you, reprimand you, reward you and so forth there is only one true constant for you to be aware of. The answer is simple: you.

The effects of others at the end of all things is of no consequence to you. What is of substance is how this affects you in the present moment and as you move into the next stage of your existence. In this instance, I do not refer to the corporeal form that you currently inhabit but more the state of being that you shall transcend into. My thoughts that I am writing at this juncture are merely my own and it is the choice of whoever is reading whether those words have any influence upon them. Some may skip swiftly onwards to the next highlight that permeates the digiverse or maybe take the time to digest what comes through from my creative flow.

How do we take this forward? It is my belief that we create the structure of our day. To be productive we do not merely go through life on the treadmill filling the spreadsheet of some autonomous corporate entity that is a temporary construct in the temporal flow. The ideas of most are alien to the joy of the human spirit, instead they seek to conform you to the robotic ethic of vampiric energy flow to their towers of wealth. You are merely one insignificant component of that enterprise and should you falter, then you will be ousted and easily replaced.

This is not who we are. Nay, my dear readers, we are an expression of love, truth and joy and surely it is right for us to explore those ideals. Many will see this as mere puffy tomfoolery lodged in the realm of idle fantasy and instead should put down those fluffy ideals for more substantive outcomes. Now, there is nothing erroneous about honest labour and being rewarded so for these endeavours but not at the price of crushing the very spirit that lurks within each of us.

Take ownership of your vibrant light and shine as best you can. Forgive, love, laugh and always remember when those dark thoughts come knocking on your door just know you have the power to transform them into bright rays of whatever colour you feel is right. The big question is: will you?
