Do not climb the mountain, for you are the mountain.

Hello dear friends and it would appear to be a bit of nondescript day as I look to the view outside. On that note allow me to share the kudos and love to Anna, Jo, Shilpa, Peter and Russell for stopping by and reading, commenting, liking, loving and sharing my previous post. It's much appreciated and keep on reading everyone.

Here is a little bit of unknown information that I'm sure Anna will appreciate. Did you know there is such a thing as cat Reiki. It originated at the foothills of Mount Kurama when a stray feline stumbled upon an ancient deity of lost mice. This deity offered the gift of purrfect healing if it promised never to chase another mouse again. The name of this cat...Miaow Usui of course.

Cat Reiki is real

and comes from a wise feline.

Miaow Usui

Now doubt you are either guffawing or groaning at that absurd tale above I shall focus upon the theme for today. We find ourselves in life chasing dreams, aspirations as we seek to climb those lofty heights of aspiration. It's quite a big mountain we see before us and the steps we take do not necessarily take us on a path to the top but often a circuitous route right back to where we begin. It can be quite the frustration, especially when those outside influences ruin our best laid plans.

So ask yourself this: Do I need to climb that mountain? Would it not be wiser to look inside yourself and realise that actually the mountain to conquer is the one of self. If we can take the steps to master our own energy then surely the external challenges that come along may become just that bit easier.

The internal mountain is almost certainly a harder task than the external. Let's face it, we're getting deep into our make up and subconscious and all those programming days from our experience shape us into who we are now. I'm sure most of it will sit well with you but I'm pretty darn sure there are aspects we'd like to change. And yet, the change you wish to happen ought to come from you, not some self help course you saw on the web, from a guru, from a book your read but right from the depths of who you are.

Recognition is the first step, the next, well that is the tough part. This is where we seek to unravel the spaghetti of our soul right back to our core essence. Remember, each one of us is where we are meant to be right now even if at times you'd rather be far, far away from that reality. When we wish to change our reality, then let's dig deep, excavate the fools gold that doesn't serve us at all and move forward. And if you cannot, well that's fine too. It's your journey and not for anyone else to judge you. Even when we look like we're not moving at all, believe me we are.

That will do for today. Have a splendid Thursday and I shall look forward to a trip to the dental hygienist and group tonight. Now for some things to be grateful for.
