Dinosaurs, happiness and Ragnarok

Writer's picture: Gary HewittGary Hewitt

Greetings all and I trust you've all had a magical weekend. First up let me say a huge thank you to Anna, Mike, Shilpa, Jo, Marion, Sarah, Rae, Griselda and Vanessa. As always a huge shout out to all of you for reading, commenting, liking, sharing and offering your support.

This weekend has been rather splendid. I've had the pleasure of offering some lovely healings and readings at the Shakra Centre and also sending some distant healing to a good friend who's struggling a bit at present. It's nice to be able to do our little bit to do our best to bring a touch of harmony where we can.

Last night was very special. I had the pleasure of some truly magical company and settled down to watch great beasties roam the realm. The latest Jurassic film is certainly worth a watch and a fine way to spend a couple of hours or so. Once when I was a lad, I used to be a bit of a dinosaur fan. I'd read up on all of them and it certainly captivated me on how these big old monsters used to rule the world along with all the sci-fi that I used to and still do love. I guess that fascination has always remained.

After the event we both went outside to witness an ocean being poured down into the centre of our universe. The epic journey we undertook was rather spectacular with Thor and Odin having a bit of a disagreement. Visualise teeming rain streaming into the roads and windscreen, huge bursts of energy and somewhere in the middle of it was my little car meandering a course through instinct and guidance. Once I'd completed the first leg of the odyssey it was then onto the motorway with the road hiding underwater and great lightshows blasting across the land. Isn't it incredible on how the power of lightning can bring daylight into night for that merest moment?

After quite a while, my humble abode was reached. I dived inside after fumbling with the wrong keys and was very grateful for a truly memorable evening. Thank you to someone incredibly special for being there with me ;)

So what lies ahead this week? Aside from the writing of course, there's Facebook live tomorrow eve, A joint Summer Solstice event I'm involved with (if you'd like to get involved, send me a message for details), my Thursday group, a day of healings and readings at the centre, a day of meditation and development at the centre (again, message me if you'd like to know more) and a Reiki 2 course next Sunday. Not busy at all really...believe me, I am most thankful.

Upon that note I shall desist and wish you all adieu and remember...keep reading.
