Greetings all and first up let me first say thank you to Anna, Mary, Mary and Jo for your comments, likes/loves and shares. It is appreciated as always and great to have you all stop by.
What comes to my mind today is how the wind doth blow just now. It is deceptive as you look at the sun and think ah it looks rather nice out there and suddenly a gust threatens to teach you the art of levitation. Sometimes it's nice just to sit down and watch the world breeze on by rather than be whizzed on down the road.
My attention switches to this evening as the purple light has now ascended to blue which means the internet is behaving itself at the present moment. It would appear there was some Arson in Headcorn which disrupted coverage in quite a bit of Kent. Thankfully, normality has been restored and it's all go this evening.
There appears to be silliness at the pumps again as there has been a shortage of fuel due to some protests apparently. I do hope the situation improves as people do panic at the slightest little indication. I recall well the fiasco with toilet rolls and the silliness that followed. Please everyone, let's be just a little bit sensible.
Let's dig up the archives and see what we can find today...
The Seer
These dreams. I cannot fathom them. Sleep? I’ve forgotten what that is. I’m out of bed, descending to the kitchen and break out the cornflakes. The milk floods to the bowl and a white ocean crashes into hard maize. My senses are so fragile.
I crack on the telly and catch my breath. They are saying there’s a fire near London Bridge. This is too much. Last night, I dreamt of a dragon landing by the Thames and devouring a train. I don’t need this, I really don’t.
Yet who do I tell? They’ll think me quite insane and this dream hasn’t been the first premonition. I saw the war in the sand, the president getting arrested, the riots in Seoul and many more.
Some have not happened yet. That’s truly scary.
I turn off the telly, I really don’t need the reporters to tell me any more. I suppose I better throw some clothes on. I have the world’s most exciting job as a data analyst. All day looking at algorithms, spreadsheets and graphs and making reports that no-one ever really reads.
I throw on my jacket for I reckon it’ll be just a bit nippy. I glance upwards for the sky is a strange hue of purple and I feel that horrible rising sensation in my stomach. I scan the horizon and see nine massive lights soaring across the metropolis. I know the same scenario is being played out right across the world.
I hate it when dreams come true.
