Greetings all and before I say anymore, I'd just like to say thank you for Anna for her lovely feedback on my last post and to Kitty for liking it too. It's great to know that my posts do get read and hopefully give you something to think about.
My creative juices are eager to get cracking on some creative writing but for now I shall recount my thoughts about today. It was a time to take the motor to the car doctor as it was the annual mot/service routine and of course a few things were discovered and needed repairing. It wasn't cheap but it's one of those things that needed to be done and you can't just sit on it and hope the problems go away.
In the past, I might have been of the mind, oh flaming heck that's another hefty wedge going out of my diminishing bank reserves but I caught that thought today. If I'm thinking in that mode then surely I am sending out vibes of want and neediness. So, I switched it, instead I thought, no, I am actually going to emphasise the thought of gratitude. After all, if I didn't get it done, the car would get bald tyres, I'd run the risk of an accident or getting a tug by the police. Instead, be happy that I spent the money and extended the life of the car and allowed me to do the things that I wish and need to do.
Simple thoughts like this have the capacity to transform our whole lives if we catch them and use it to the positive way of thinking as opposed to negative. It's not as easy as it sounds but do try to put it into action. Who knows where it might lead you.
