A lighter piece of nature

Greetings all and first up let's say a big thank you to Anna, Shilpa, Jo, Kat, Allen & Lynda for reading my latest blog post and taking the effort to like, love, share and comment. It's awesome to have you all popping by and I do appreciate it immensely.

Well, yesterday was a bit of a deep post so today I thought I'd lighten the mood considerably. After a lovely reading today and waiting for my repast we espied a wondrous site from the window of the Shakra Centre. It was the white squirrel who decided to have a good feast from the bird feeders. Now, whilst our nimble fellow doesn't have wings to ascend the heights he is more that adept at improvising and scaling the obstacle with little effort. Have a good old look at the picture below and I do hope it brings a smile or two to your face as it did with us.

When I look at our little friend it does get our attention does it not. Now I'm sure if it was a grey squirrel it would still be a great picture but there's a bit of magic with our albino friend here. Doesn't it make you wonder about how those who stand out in life are just that little bit different and are not afraid to show their true colours. The lesson I take from the furry model is not to hide our light and let us all take that onboard as we go forward.

Hmm, I feel it's time for a fun little piece of verse. Here goes, straight from the top of my head and who knows what nonsense will tumble forth

I harkened to the glass

A sight did come to pass

A squirrel in the air

His fur was oh so fair

Plastered all in white

On a rope oh so tight

He was a clever beast

Gorged on nutty feast

Camera to the fore

Jaws will drop to floor

He graced us with a pose

Almost like a doze

Time for him to go

His coat of perfect snow

Thither did he scurry

Off in blurry hurry.
